Central Battery Systems  mainly used in larger installations and provide the emergency power to a number of connected (slave) luminaries from a central unit that houses the batteries and the inverter /charger. These come in a variety of options such as 24V, 50V and 110V AC/DC. Each luminaire that is to be used as an emergency fitting will then need to have an inverter module installed.
